No spark= Unhappy
I am so flipin happy today, I am going to pick up my part order from Honda. This will really start to get this bike underway. I will start a build thread when I get a good amount of work done. I am placing another $500 order next Friday and that will take care of everything including all the fluids and small things needed to finish everything up.
I think I am just going to leave the bed linered parts the way they are for now. I don't want to have to wait several more days for parts to dry before they can be installed. I am hoping for engine in frame by the end of the week.

Attaboy!
I just went through the box of parts checking everything in to make sure it is there because it is a lot of parts and it looks like I am missing 5 parts. So I will be getting ahold of Honda tomorrow to have them replace the ones I am missing. It is about $26 worth of parts but they did say there were a few parts that have not arrived yet so maybe it is them. I need to get a few things tomorrow and then I am going to start putting everything back together on tomorrow night since I am off on Thursday.
What are the best fluids to use for the 954 in regards to oil, brakes, and forks. I was going to buy all Honda fluids but I am wondering if there are any better fluids that I should look into. For the oil I was going to get HP4, the brakes is DOT 4, and the forks would be SS-8 all Honda products. I am already set on engine ice for the coolant since I have used it on my other bikes and it worked great. So just let me know what you are using or what could be better.

I use Motul oils and brake fluids. Not cheap but haven't had anything to complain. The forks have Öhlins fork fluids but i would use allso Motul or the other know brands.
And for cooling/antifreeze i have little over 10% of red longlife antifreeze, water wetter the amount that the instructions say and rest is de-ionized water. But the high comp motor generates more heat so i need the cooling effect of the water.

Probably just go with the Honda products since I will be there anyways to pick up more parts. I just picked up more today and will be ordering more next Friday to finish up on the Honda parts. I am going to be getting some aftermarket flush mount signals, integrated tail light, grips, bar ends, shorty levers, frame sliders, new polished fairing bolts, and some other stuff next Friday also.
I do have another question though. Would you buy a new eBay aftermarket radiator for $120 or a used OEM radiator that has a very tiny place on the top where it was pushed in with no leaks or other damage for $70. I am leaning towards the $70 one because I can probably heat the top piece up and pull it out with hardly no effort. It did not damage any of the fins either.

But i got the 300V Motul whit good discounts from a friend who has some contacts. It was marginally more expensive for me then Hondas own oil and most of the guys that ride on track use it and say that there is noticeble difference whit the clutch and shifting whit it. And it's green which is kind of funny

I kind of would rather have the OEM one but the new word is a big deciding factor. But the $50 savings would allow me to do some other things as well. I think if that $70 OEM radiator is still available next Friday I will pick it up, clean it up, repair the little bit of top damage, straighten out any affected fins, and give it a coat of paint. Wala practically brand new radiator and $50 bucks in the pocket.
