The run has been sanded out and been painted over and you cannot even tell there was a run in the paint. Plus the top is now painted and done. I still need to get another can to get into some small areas that did not get coated well enough. But I guess I will have an extra can for touch-ups if needed. After tomorrow I am going to let the swing arm cure for the rest of the week and then reassembly of everything next week.

I am going to paint the rest of the parts this weekend and I will be dropping some parts off to be PC'd tomorrow when my new OEM 03-06 600RR front and rear footrest/pegs are delivered. I am hoping they will work with my OEM 954 rear sets and passenger pillion since I wanted a more updated look and did not see the need for new rear sets or junky eBay pegs.

Let me know what you think. There was not much light so the pictures look greyish but they are much darker. Plus let me know if you can tell where I had the paint run, it would be in the first two pictures.

I would have never found it unless you pointed it out. It's on the upper portion of arm near the welds on the rise? Looks awesome though.

Thanks, it is right in the middle between the opening and the indent. You can still see a tiny spec of over spray that I might sand out. I can't wait for my part order to come in to put the bike back together.

I got my front and rear foot rest today and they work perfectly with the OEM rear sets. They go on a CBR 600RR 03-04 and 1000RR 04-11

So I have the rest of the paint to finish up the case covers and some other parts. The OEM part order will be here either Mon. or Tue. and then I can work on putting the bike back together. I need to drop a few parts of to be PC'd and have my OEM radiator repaired and then this thing will hopefully be done before the end of July.

Keep chugging away man, you'll probably beat me since I still have to paint my tank. You have pictures of the rear sets? I was curious how they turned out.

No you should beat me. I am shooting for the end of July but we shall see. The rearsets have not been PC'd yet I am trying to find a company who can do them in a less shiny finish.

Do you have an air compressor?
