what did you do to your cbr-600F2 today??
Sanded down the tank, at least the lion's share of it. Have to do the finer details around the gas cap and along the edges, and then manually use a block to smoothen things out and get rid of the spots I didn't do today. But most of it disappeared anyways. Oh, I used protective glasses, gloves, a breathing mask and ear protection. Mattson, I took your advice and bought a wider roll than the Dremel. It's not listed in the webshop of Clas Ohlson but they have it in the store. Still a pain in the *** though.
Yea if it`s professional car paint instead of rattle can stuff it`s mighty tight on there. You might wanna try NitroMors or other paint stripper for those hard to reach places if you won`t get them otherwise but looks like you`ve come a long way already.
EDIT: Oh, don`t need new mirrors after all, the left one had managed to vibrate the screws loose and oxidize them in place, a proper tug opened them after which I was able to tighten them back so that it stays where it`s supposed to be.

Still expecting the red adjustable shorty levers to arrive next week. Also serviced the sticking turn indicator switch but now the hi/lo switch got stiff so gotta open the casing again...
Not me
yea gotta admit it's slipped a bit, gotta clean it first thing before starting to weld the triumph so I wont torch the whole house...

Red adjustable shorty levers came yesterday, so I removed the old ones, cleaned and lubed the "slots" they go into. Just rode to work first time with them and the Harris gel grips. Wow, what a difference! From now on shorty levers to ALL my bikes! Also found out why the clutch felt funny before, the lever hinge was down right full of dirt and the lever itself had a wee bend downwards so after installing the new one I had to turn the whole clutch side lever assembly a bit dow and move it a little towards the gauges. Now it's working as a swiss clock. Just needs some getting used to, now that the clutch is crisp and returns much more sharply I managed to kill the engine into lights twice when riding to work

Yeah, I could never run full-length levers again - I have so much better control with short levers, and of course, much less chance of snapping a lever if you go down!
planned on getting some myself, but our new roomate stayed for 3 weeks then left without paying so now im in a bit of a pickle so levers will have to wait. Do they make that big of a difference? a pic would be cool as well if you have one?

Yes they do, much better control over both clutch and specially the brake. Ebay cheapo:s cost like under 20 USD a pair delivered. I`m told the electroplating on the colored ones fade fast in direct sunlight but you could always get silver or black ones.
