Last night put the rear wheel back on with a brand new Dunlop Roadsmart 2 mounted on the rim, today rode to work, loaded it into my truck and drove back home for some maintenance/repairs (to the truck)
HUGE difference in handling, the back isn't bouncy anymore, thought that was normal for the bike, much sharper response in turns and overall a LOT more comfy ride. Never would have believed it could make such a difference, feels like a whole another bike!

Began dismantling the race bike, to finally start repairs - while I was at it, I pulled the tire hugger from the race bike, to install on the street bike, and gave it a washing... see my thread for details.

Had to leave it at my moms garage. We spent last night there with my wife, she on the car with the dog and the baby, I followed on the bike through the twisties. As we were leaving, started what could best be described as a diabolic downpour! I've probably seen a deluge like that less than ten times in my life. I was soaking wet after running from the garage to the house about 30 meters away. Had to hitch a ride and go get the bike tomorrow... Also noticed I might need a carb tuning, gonna make a thread a bit later with a few Q:s.

installed a set of clearwater lights ,,im not to crazy about the way they look but the light that they put down is perfect...very pricey .. has any one use them??
