Trying to make up my mind whether or not try to make a 4-1-2 twin exhaust system probly digging it out of the garage in the start of April.

It's hard to make out the logo in the picture - what brand is that slip-on?

Also, why do you want to change from your carbon fiber can?

Biltema

a.k.a. general no-brand...

...and it`s not from, it`s to. That CF can is brand new.

...but in case you mean the old one on the floor, it`s a Remus.

...and there`s gonna be two, I`m going VTR on the pipes, gonna experiment with different mountings and see what looks the best. Probably gonna lose a HP or two, but don`t care, there`s still plenty left.

Ahhh, for some reason I thought you already had that CF pipe on there... I'm just confused!

Nah, just bought them today along with another paddock stand to get the whole bike up. We`ll see how it goes, I studied the bike and if I remove the center stand there`s enough room to bring another pipe to the left side. Hopefully I can cut and weld the y-joint in place without taking the manifold off, it hasn`t been removed for who knows how many years so I`m fearing I`d shear the bolts and destroy the gaskets...

Gonna be 100% for the looks, and to get that little something other f2:s don`t have. Gonna tell you later if it was a bad or a very bad idea but somehow IMO that tail just needs double cans under it... besides, I think the red-black-silver/chrome goes well with some carbon.

No turning back now

Not pretty but should be airtight.

Gotta weld the cuts, grind em down and paint the pipe.

On the left, gotta do little fiddling with the fitting, and possibly make some little cuts to change the angles.

The only clearance issue is that there`s not enough room between the sidestand and the chain so in order to not rub the chain I have to restrict the stand a few cm:s from coming all the way up. Shouldn`t cause issues.

Not hurting my eyes They`re not aligned as the left one isn`t connected to anything yet, gotta go continue tomorrow, basically just tested today if it`s possible at all.
