Hamlin nailed it
Was actually referring to that exact skit but didn't wanna resort to full plagiarism. Love Jeff, got the "arguing with myself" DVD, been trying to find the "spark of insanity" but it's sold out everywhere

Pulled the carbs agian yesterday so I can put in new float and/or float needle. Which was causing my cold cylinder temperture on number one cylinder. Today pulled the coils, plug wires, rubber heat shield, and radiator, so I can have
lots of room to do a valve clearance check and compression test on all 4 cylinders.

Working on the front brakes. Rebuilt the master cylinder the other day and today I tore the calipers apart. One of the pistons was pure agony to get out but eventually, with a lot of my Swedish viking strength, I managed to get that one out too. Tomorrow for the rebuild.

Okay, I managed to snap two of the new piston seals while trying to push the pistons back into the caliper. I think they were slightly too small (part of rebuild kit though) because they wouldn't fit properly in the caliper. One side kept popping out of place and that's how I snapped them when I pushed the pistons in. The seals must have been caught between the edge of the fitting and the piston and cut off by the piston when pushed in. Any good advice on this? The dust seal (bigger, further down into the caliper) was no issue.

Good Luck...
After a recent dyno run that showed the bike running a bit fat, I rejetted and resynced my carbs.
The bike runs a bit crisper now and the throttle response, by the seat of my pants, seems to be quicker.
The ultimate test of this is when Nels Byersdorf is back in my area with his dyno.
Next weekend is putting the FoxShox TwinClicker back together.

Threw on some polish to make it nice and shiny. Also did a quick onceover for the track day tomorrow. Wake up at 7am, three guys going on three bikes. Still gotta pack the camera and some lighter clothes etc, promised around 30c tomorrow and the track is in a pit so there`s almost no wind.
At the same time very excited and a bit scared...

Just take it easy as you get to know the track, and don't ride over your head, and you'll be fine! Hopefully no one around you will be riding over their own heads either!
