what did you do to your cbr-600F2 today??
By the way, for anyone in the states looking for a cheap chain breaker AND riveter, the chain breaker from harbor freight works well for the price.
It's meant to break, but you can set it up to rivet as well.

Since it is a cheap tool, I decided to grind down the pins a bit first but didn't HAVE to.
Here is a vid that shows both functions.

Did some of the service I was meant to do last weekend but didn`t have time after all. Man I`ll tell you, I will be missing a lot of things of that bike when it`s gone but one of those things is NOT the spark plug change!!! Still gotta slap the fairings back on and throw some water over it but had to stop as I have a few emails to send and it`s 23:26 already...
I ended up putting the rear wheel bearing kit meant for an F2 onto my F3 wheel
The bearings are the same for the inner wheel, but not the hub. And the dust seals are different. So now I am having to order an F3 kit. I'll use two bearings from it for my F2 wheel I was planning on selling, and swap seals etc.
What a pain

I'm assuming you're doing a full front end swap from the F3? Forks, wheel, brakes and all, over to the F2?
Finished the service, put the bike back together, pushed it out... and cranked the battery dry. No go... pushed it back in, a short burst of start pilot in from the cyl 1 vacuum port, started right up but runs on 3 and a half...
CARB TIME!!!! *loud Finnish cursing* Gotta take it apart yet again during the coming weekend. DO NOT WANT TO but have to, a question of honor to have the bike in A1 condition when it goes...

The cost of a good wheel and rotors is just prohibitive to me right now.
So instead I'm planning on swapping the F3 uppers and internals into my F2 lowers, unless I come across a good wheel deal soon.
Edit:
This actually kind of has me torn.
I would have to buy an F3 wheel, new rotors, maybe a spacer/s, AND a digital gauge set up since I don't have the f3 gauges.
Whereas just swapping the fork internals at least gives a slight upgrade, though having the F3 brakes would be great.
But If I were to sell the F3 front end as is, I could make almost as much as the parts bike cost me.
I would just be stuck with stock F2 front end.

I just found another F3 parts bike for $325.
Just have to drive 4.5 hours round trip to get it :/
Debating on it.
Has a bad motor, thrown rod.
But it has the carbs.
Front end is complete on it.
