I had to add more brake fluid to the 1/2 empty reservoir because those damn brake fluid elves keep stealing it while I'm sleeping.

I sliced a large gashing on my middle finger of my clutch hand on the 4th. Spend the evening in the ER getting it stitched up. I've been unable to ride for the last week. So I took the opportunity to tighten up the stem bearings on the F2. Finally got to ride today and wow is all I can say. It's like someone removed the jello blocks between the handlebars and the frame. There is still a little wiggle somewhere, but it's a hell of a lot better.

Unhappy love/Hate

Tried to use my bike to go to work but she didn't want to play ball today, the battery was dead, the fuel lines where rock hard due to the cold (5C or 41F ) so I had to fight to get the tank back on, the first nice day in over a month and I couldn't get her going. Its a love hate relationship sometimes

I fired her up after having started the whole "let me tear everything apart and check it out just because I can"-process in november...

Redid the tucking of the wire harness in the frame, rerouted choke and throttle cables, fabricated a longer clutch cable (with a little bit of help from a Venhill universal clutch cable kit), all to get ready for the necessary MOT inspection. During the testride I discovered an oil leak... Apparently I had forgotten to tighten the bolts to the valve cover before I did everything else... Almost there though. When it has passed the inspection, I'll repair the petcock of the brushed metal tank I prepared last winter and fabricate some metal side fairings but this will have to do for now.

I installed the mounting bracket for my Cortech Dryver tank bag. Bag should arrive Friday but the bracket looks good.

Lookin good chaps! Migge looking forward to seeing how your bike looks with the brushed tank!

Oddly enough recently I've started to miss mine... Quite happy to not have a project in bits ATM but still... *empty gaze into the horizon*... we'll see what future brings...

CBobbeR maybe?

Mattson, I would LOVE to see you build a bobber in a build thread so I can follow the progress and steal your ideas. There is something missing in my garage and that is a proper bobber...
