If the front end is good, thats worth the $325 right there (I'm including the rim).

SV 650 guys still go after a rear rim.

If the tank doesn't have rust, its still worth some money

Clean frames are worth some good coin too.

I'd go get it for $325.

Oh I know it's worth it. But I've already spent so much more than I intended when I bought the first bike 2 months ago :P
I know that eventually I will make the money back from the parts bikes, or double it really, but it takes a while to get the higher dollar prices.

Edit:
Well I'm set to go and buy it tomorrow morning.
It will be interesting to see the exact damage to the motor. Supposedly a rod broke off and put a hole in the motor.
It would be a nice miracle if I could put parts from both F3 motors together and get a working one :P
But doubtful the crank could survive broken rod.
Oh, and the owner thinks the gauge is from an F4.

A little bit of JB Weld and it'll be good as new.

Duct tape=weight reduction :P

In other news, I picked up the parts bike.
I'll post up pics and details in my stripper thread :P
It's rough, but has some goodies like shiny rims ,SS braided rear brake line.
And a big hole in the motor like the pic above

Finished the service. Again. took the bike apart again, cleaned the carbs, changed the front tire, charged the battery, filled the tank with stabilized fuel, cleaned and lubed the chain. Now it starts instantly and has an immediate throttle response.

Looks great. Hope mine will look even half as nice when I'm done.
One question though....

What's that hard white stuff under your wheel?
Some kind of new semi-organic pavement I don't know about??

It`s the government`s conspiracy to shorten the riding perioid here so they can pump up even more money from the insurance payments!

The main roads are actually getting clear already but the little street we live in belongs in the plow category 4 which means it is one of the last roads to be plowed IF someone has the time and energy to come here at all. Some times the street is in such a shape I`m actually struggling to get the Clio out of it and over the slush bank that usually sits in the crossroads to the main road... Luckily the spring is around the corner, 750eur worth of Alfa parts getting ordered next week when I get some cash, already sold my snowboard and sailkite to raise more money. The Clio is the next one to go right after I get the timing belt changed on that too.
