No matter what, you're making some progress!

Ha, good point. Yeah, I cropped them. Here is the full picture. I don't see too much as far as height, the angle is a little different. Of course the angle can be manipulated to a degree. Glad you said something. I was always up close worrying about fitment etc. A step back is def a good thing.

Position 1

Position 2

Position 3

Adjustments can still be made to all, so if ya see somethin point it out. I can always run outside, try it, then snap a pic and come back lol

Well, of the three, position 2 has the rearmost portion of the tail at what I feel is the most "correct" angle, in relation to the tank - position 1 has the rear of the tail pointing a touch higher, and position 3 is pointing up higher yet, to the point I would definitely say that it is probably too steep.

It's true that pos. 2 has that weirdness with how the front of the tail contacts the tank, but if your trimming that and dealing with all the "blending" later, then that won't matter.

It's all subjective, anyway, and with any bit you get just right, another bit suffers a touch... it's a compromise, but that said, I suppose with enough thought and trial and error, you might get to the point where it seems perfect, with no compromise.

I was afraid of it being a lil too steep. that being said, I may be able to drop it down a bit. I'll guess I'll go cut the covers off and see what happens. I've come to the conclusion its going to have to be done regardless so might as well get on with it. Be back with more pics shortly

Well, I got a side cut. Then the damn dremel died. Anyway, I started with position 3, well cause its the hardest one to get right.

I did notice this go round though, that the two tabs that hold the stock f2 are holding the rear up. When I can cut those two tabs off, the rear should level out about a quarter to half inch lower at the tip. Then it won't be as steep. I think I like this position mainly because it covers so much of the subframe. I'll have to run it through all the positions again to see. I may just have to deal with the bit of subframe showing, I dunno.

Not alot of body work lately, been dealing with various electrical gremlins and what not. But I did get the gas petcock in today. Figured I'd post some pics of it. Looks good so far. Not bad for right at 30.

Will let yall know how it mounts and functions. But all in all looks pretty close to what I have on there

Gary, do you have an oz/gram scale? If so, will you do me a huge favor, and weigh that petcock for me, with the screen?

Jeff, I tried to weigh it but our Freon scale is on the blink. Short of taking it to Wal-Mart I'm at a loss. I can tell you that it and the little box it came in weighed in at .30kg if that helps any. I haven't installed it as of yet so if I get a chance I will weigh it for ya.
