I've been looking on ebay. They are running between 50-100 new. I found some for around the $70 mark that I will probably go with, however, I have been regulated to only buying when I sell old parts due to her seeing the pot about an hour ago
So I have to sell the stay, left fairing with inner, possibly the headlight, although its a lil scratched, left access door. Would love to sell everything so I can get the headlights, seat, and tailight for the rr. Which is about all I lack aside from the lower fairings. Slow going at the moment. Which reminds me.... I'm gonna send you a pm

I told you she would see it. You should've put something around it so it wasn't too noticeable. haha

The only thing with those headlights is that one side is low beam an the other is high beam, with original wiring ofcourse. So I bought an HID kit and put a switch to it so both sides are always on.

What a day. Work was a little slow today.... well not really. I was left in charge and made the fng do everything so I decided to change my fork seals and clean my forks. Still debating painting the lower tubes, but thats another day. Snapped a bunch of pics along the way so here we go. If you've been following along so far youll remember what they looked like before with the leaking seals. Here they are right after I took them off.

Lil bit of rust mostly just built up oil and dirt.

These are the ONLY seals I trust not to leak...... Like the saying goes, "Get a set"

This is the seal that was on the leaking right fork. I wonder why it was leaking.... anyone, anyone, Bueller......

So anyway, I won't bore yall with a step by step seal replacement. I cleaned the tubes best I could.

And wala, finished product waiting to be installed sometime this weekend..

Till next time... feedback welcome and encouraged.

They really are great bikes and definitely worth the time and effort to repair.

Taking care of it and upgrading to make it yours is half the fun. Riding is the other half ... I don't know about India but you have a network on this forum to help with parts.

You have made some great progress with your F2. Those forks look factory fresh.

Thumbs up to you for keeping a old beauty alive.

Thanks. I appreciate it. We are trying out this new degreaser/wheel acid at work, I have to say that stuff is amazing. I literally just sprayed it on and waited long enough to finish my cig then sprayed it off. All the grease was gone. Then a wire brush to clean off previous owners overspray. I was surprised by how clean they came out myself.
