Hey Danny,
I did replace the whole pump assembly... Only thing I used from the previous pump was the strainer. There was no rust in the tank and I've cleaned up the fuel tank breather holes(if that's what they're called).

Ok, do pump-flow test next. Should get numbers of about double minimum listed in manual.

Also do pressure-test.

Measure voltage at each injector connector

I will do try the pump-flow test hopefully tonight after work.
I will have to find a pressure tester that will fit the rail.
And I will do the voltage test today too... I'll let you know how it goes tonight or tomorrow.

Thanks for the fast replies dannoxyz.

I was told I have to loosen all the engine bolts to align the hole whoever I jack it up from the bottom oil pan the rear comes almost off the stand.Any ideas what I should try.I can see the hole isn’t really aligned.I can turn the bolt on a little before it gets tight.

Shine bright light in hole and see how they're aligned.

Which hole is this anyway?

they don’t appear aligned.I can see some thread wear from all the times I have been trying.whenever I try to tread it on it gets hard to turn like if it’s crossthreading. It is the hole on the side connected to the frame l.looks like the bolt hooks onto the head area.

Hey, so I guess I lied about replacing the whole fuel unit. I only replaced the pump assembly and strainer, everything else is the same. I'm hoping to do a pump-flow test tonight.
Also, another question regarding the voltage check at injectors.. With the key on, should the bike be receiving voltage in one of the connector pins?
I put on the bike, and held a test light to each connector and it didn't turn on, even when I was turning over the bike.

Yup - they are ground switched. One of the legs going to the injector should be 12v - according to this diagram anyway - you should be able to trace where the 12v is stopping. Engine stop relay is the most obvious place to start.

any idea about my alignment issue getting the bolt back in.I’ve tried jacking it up but the engine does not move. The whole bike starts to come up.Do I need to loosen any other bolts/engine mounts?
