Light flickering may be clue. Probably shorted or loose wire somewhere.
Most likely up-stream from lights and ECU since it affects them both.
Start at battery and measure each junction to lights and ECU

1. pull headlight fuse to not kill battery, put trickle-charger on battery

2. battery-voltage with everything OFF = ???

3. key ON, start/stop = RUN

4. battery-voltage = ??? This is baseline control measurement

5. measure voltage of red wire going into fuse-box, volts = ???
grab both battery-cables and shake them, any changes in meter reading?
grab red wire at starter-solenoid and shake it, working your way to fusebox, any changes in reading?

6. measure voltage of blk/red wire at right-controls connector (start-button input), volts = ???
grab blk/red wire at fuse-box and shake it, working your way to start-button, any changes in reading?

7. measure voltage at blk/wht wire at lo-beam bulb socket, volts = ???
grab blu/wht wire at right-controls connector and shake it working your way to left controls, any changes in meter reading?
grab blk/wht wire at front harness conector and shake it working your way to lo-beam bulb socket, any changes in meter reading?

thanks I’ll have to get a multimeter do I have to get a high end one or will a basic one be fine. Also looks like the lights are flickering due to low idle when I can rev it with higher rpm it does not flicker. Here’s a video.Sometimes I can rev it up to 8k rpm but usually Boggs or stalls.do you think from me removing the wheel it did something I just don’t understand how it would though.I will start testing what you said soon.I also tried adjusting idle it didn’t do anything.

hey I did a few test today. Before I dig into it I changed the gas out to make sure they’re was no water. It didn’t change anytning.I tested to see if the battery was charging and it was.so we can rule out bad gas and stator or rectifier issue.Could this be a bad fuel pump I hear to prime but could it be possible it is not delivering enough gas.any ideas.

Measure actual flow-rate of pump. Should be about double what mininum specs say.

hey I just ended up replacing the fuel pump it ran great after.I should’ve diagnosed it but I just had that feeling it was the pump.I need to get a new assembly sooner or later I think. What do you think I replaced the wires inside, fuel regulator, fuel filter and new pump.

That sock on bottom is not filtre. It's just strainer that filters out big stuff that'll damage pump. Real filtre that removes particles that can clog injectors is built into pump housing after pump (pink below).

New pump may be pushing petrol into clogged filtre. Only way to know for sure is to actually measure flow-rate coming from pump-assembly. This tests entire assembly: filtre sock, pump, FPR and fuel filtre itself.

I tested it last time it was about double what what the manual recommended I will test again. What oil would you recommend for my 2007 Honda cbr1000rr I used Honda Gn4 last time I heard that isn’t the best and isn’t what is recommended I was Gn4 pro is recommended and it was quite expensive.some people are telling me to go with shell rotella t6 but I’ve seen it is a diesel engine oil that has me really hesitant and it’s quite cheap just doesn’t sit right with me.I already bought Mobil 1 racing 4t with Oem filter. Is it bad to switch oil brands?this really has me irritated I think I’m just overthinking it

No big deal mixing. Mobil-1 4T oil has worked well for me. Used it on my VFR since '86. Got over 100K-miles on it now!

For heavy-duty track use, I like Motorex.Only oil that didn't drop pressure 14-minute into race on ZX10R

I ended up going with Mobil-1 4T too with Oem filter. After 20 miles it shifted really smoothly. After 50 miles I could feel it didn’t shift as smooth.maybe I’m overthinking they’re shouldn’t be a issue with the bike also weirdly when I went to put the drain bolt it went in half and stopped like something stopped like dirt in the threads after I backed it out and put it back in it went in and I was able to tighten it.after this bike broke down every small in-convince makes me think something is wrong.
