Chasing a very stubborn slow leak in my front tire. Dunked it in the master bathtub and saw about three small bead leaks. So far, have had tire removed by local shop. Sanded some corrosion on inner wheel surface and had tire remounted and balanced. Weeks later, still loosing 5# of pressure a week. Didn't see any leaks in the valve stem on the original dunk test, but going to replace the stem valve and see if that fixes it. Arrggg!

Yesterday I replaced the Reg/Rec and stator and added a matching Honda voltage meter after the stator went on a trip into Boston and the battery died three weeks ago. (It took that long for the stator to get here!)

Had to have the bike towed to a shop until I could get it home, where they quoted $900+ to do the reg/rec and stator with OEM Honda parts. (For what is literally a 5 bolt job?! Seriously?! No. Just, No.)

Finally fixed front tire slow leak. Bare aluminum was corroding under the bead and forming that oxide powder. Had to remove tire (again), sand with 120 grit, then 240 grit. This time I applied a coat of self-etching primer and a few coats of automotive enamel. Waited three days dry time. Remounted tire and voila! No more leaks.

Fitted 3D clip ons today , a lot of stuffing about for not a lot of difference over standard . I think new longer brake and maybe clutch lines may give more options . Seems that screen support is the main limiting factor in locating the bars much higher or further back .
