New carb float valves for all four units. Re-synced carbs. No more smell of gas in garage after a ride.

Working on a design for some custom 2.5" rise touring clipons, similar to Helibars. Not interested in spending $319 on theirs. Picked up some steel DOM tubing and some hardware to weld up. Already cut the tube for the clamps. Need to weld on the pinch bolt tube/nut and slice them before moving on to mocking up the risers and bars. Will share pics as project progresses. Will have more spare time this weekend.

OK, I didn't do this today bacause I'm at work on the rig but...last week I fitted and new reg/rec and the difference in starting up is amazing and wish I'd done it earlier. Hopefully this will end the cutting out when warm problems I have been having.

This is the one I've fitted, just plug and play as they say.

ESR230 Regulator and Rectifier - Electrical - Spares - Motorcycle Spares

Next on the list is balancing the carbs but that will have to wait until I get home if I have time.

Took her out for a bit of a run today and blew the plastic 3 way tee in the cooling system .
It just completely shattered . Luckily I was only 40kms from home so the mrs could rescue me . See what happens when you show them some love
