Removed rear tire to change rear sprocket from stock 43T to 45T, gave the chain a super deep cleaning and polished the Vance and Hines aluminum muffler.
My hands are killing me.
Will post pictures later this coming week.

Default First ride on the bike

Today I picked my 94 CBR1000f up and it was a little rough at first. I had to get use to the clutch ( touchy she is ) then as I was riding and coming to a stop she was staling on me. The neutral does not lock in quick as other bikes I have rode. Then I was finally on the highway and was ready to get home with her. I then started to lose power and thought what have I bought ( first Honda by the way ) pulled over and realized the gas was off ( LOL ) then I finally was up and running and got stuck in traffic and started to appear to get hot. So I then pulled over in worry of head gasket warping. waiting about 10 minutes and got back on the bike, All I can say is she came ALIVE!!! that bike took of like a bat out of H****. the temp stayed in the middle and rode it home with a smile.

Default New headgasket, valve guides and a valve job

Today, I took this photo of my '88 cylinder head at VJ Moto vintage repair shop. I am having them do new cam chain tensioner guides, newer version of the CCT, plus updated parts to guide the oil better. The originals looked great for almost 18K miles, but I already had the new ones. I found the new valve guide (still to be delivered) at CMSNL.com in Netherland and the headgasket in eBay Germany.
This shop is a motorcycle candy store. I saw there a very rare and unique super pristine '89 VFR RC30 400RR.

Notice the 3 small leaking valves, otherwise looks good.

That front swap looks pretty good. What gauges did you go with?
