i just have a trailtech.net. does rpm, speed and water temp. Had it on now for about 6 years. works ok but its time for something new. what a difference this front end makes. i just got it done. i had to relearn the bike and how it wants to ride. found myself fighting the first few turns. Had to stop a few times to adjust the damping. still working out a few things. Dreaming of a new tail....

That bar setup looks good to me...what did you change?
clip on to bar conversion bits and just a cheap motocross style bar , both off Ebay. Biggest issue is clearing the fairing . I did a lot of stuffing around and wasn't happy with the outcome . So I bought some bar risers , also off Ebay . This combination gives me a lot more adjustability .
I had to extend brake lines and right hand switch block wiring harness , re route the throttle cables and the choke cable .
Ride position is now very much a sit up style similar to my R1200RT .
This affects the handling somewhat , ( might be more psychological )
will take some getting used to .
This project was about getting weight off my hands . I couldn't ride for anymore then an hour without pain and cramps.
These bikes are worth nothing in Australia , so it wasn't worth selling the old girl. It's still much faster than the Beemer and cheap to own on heritage registration.
I'm trying to do something similar. Currently have VFR750 clips ons raised up about 1/2" but not much of an improvement. Have cut up a used cbr top clamp and drilled for handlebar clamps. Not thrilled about having to replace brake lines, but they probably need it anyway. Do your controls not hit the fairing when you turn? Looks like they would.

No they don't , but they are a very long way up and back

I has mine up for sale due to tuff times. Had it up at $2500 couldn’t sell it. Got heaps of $1200 offers and all got refused. Times weren’t that tuff lol. Not worth selling as you said not worth anything here in Australia so I’m going to keep and upgrade next year hopefully to a blade
