What have you done to your CBR 1000f today?
Yesterday..................goodness that seems such a long time ago!
Naga Thai and I balanced the carbs on my bike, then went over it with a fine toothed comb. Found a few small parts missing such as the boxes at the very start of the air intakes into the airbox and the battery toolbox cover. Having an experienced pair of eyes look over the bike was very educational.
I'll try to source the missing parts from wrecks in Australia.
Cheers, SB

More learnin' for me Bordo
Have a look at the Ron Ayer's fiche - link attached
It is listed as Ref# 20 and 21 - Duct.
It appears as though my ducts are incorrect for the bike and will allow water to enter the airbox.
Also Ref# 13 50324-MS2-000 LID A, BATTERY BOX - on the battery fiche for the 1991 CBR1000F
Cheers, SB

I came out of a toll booth and into a turn. The bike did a hop and handling went to ****. I was up against the guard rail. I hit something coming out of the toll booth and it did a little damage to my rear tire. LOL
Heading out now to put the new tires on. No patching that one. LOL
They are already mounted, just need to get them on for tomorrows ride.
Edit: New tires are on. I have a new way of taking the front wheel off that saves a lot of time.

Looks like you may have picked up a bit of metal or similar and on the turn it cut deeper then threw out.
Have a good ride with the new tyres!

We have EZ-pass lanes that use a reader. I came through the EZ-pass lane that was on the outside and saw what looked like a license plate in front of me at the last second. It kicked out the back and my tire spun and I was off until the very close turn. Just had to maneuver right through traffic really really quick on a flat tire to get to the first exit. I called my friend who happened to be in my area and just happened to have his bike trailer on the hitch.
I was thinking, "can't be a flat tire, they don't go flat that quick."
Just got in from trying the new tires. Right side head lamp was out so I replaced it. Only took 3 minutes by my method. I have to admit the right side was easy on the side stand.
