8 Have a drink

Next up the bike gets a second viper can and the new big jet carbs

Do you ever rest Sprock. Making me look like a lazy so and so.

I - obviously - fitted the stick coils yesterday.

To come: VFR bars and some serious exhaust modifications. Also have a bit of paint to touch up on the fairing and mirrors.

Geez, you blokes are going to keep me honest!

With most guys it's "too many women, not enough time" but in Sprock's case................ hehe
And I wish I had done HenryM's mod to the camchain tensioner before I put the "lid" back on. Live and learn - too keen to ride after 2 weeks down time.....
Did an oil change so I didn't feel all lazy.................
then did 90 miles with my buddy and his new Ducati Panigale - OMG that thing's insane - 204BHP and he just kept disappearing even when I was at 150MPH. But I'm happy, druther have my seat anyday - his is like a plank - he couldn't walk properly when he dismounted. I laughed like hell hehe.

^lol

All I did today was touch her as I put the top box back on that I loaned my son.

Rode one of my other bikes 310 miles today but thought about her many times during the ride.

What have I done today; I thought about her, that's what I did.

Well it's still just below zero here in the sunny (?) Adelaide Hills at 9.30 am - frost everywhere - and I'm about to take the CBR1000F out for its first fang with the stick coils fitted.

Wont be a long ride but surely a bloody cold one

Will report back

Cheers, SB

Ok, it went like a dream, no hesitation, pulled like a 12 year old schoolboy, idled so smooth. Took it up to the double ton - did it at a canter.

Wind chill minus 60 degrees Celsius though.

This is a must-do mod for those sitting on the sidelines.

HEHE
(It's winter here, but sea temp is still 20C so all the holidaymakers are swimming.)
Probably warmer than Sprock's pool.........It's hell in the tropics HEHE

I think I've done a wheel bearing - slight front wobble and grinding noise............
My turn -
B-b-b-b-b-b-b-bastard! HEHE
Just as well it didn't let go on Sunday at 150MPH

Any Jobs going where you are Shadow?

I detest the cold. The only reason I live here is because it is close to my kids. And the fact that for 8-9 months of the year it is perfect and has some of the best motorcycling roads right outside my door! But apart from that............

Made it back from my 950 Mile ride and only two things got wrong...

one direction light wire is out from its nest witch I managed to push back and work while on stand but as soon as we move it shakes it self off from the nest so thats my todays assignment

Second was overheating when I got off the ship..
I ve riden allmost 2000 miles this season and havent had to add the cooling liquid... te meter does not go to red... a bit before that starts blowing hot air.. it heated up and cooled down like 4 times... took me 30 minutes to get allmost out from the city.. and then.. under the last light gess what.. I didnt press enough gas and we sat ther for 15 minutes until she cooled down.. Not some big problem but a bit worrieing..

But so far we are cool
