2002 CBR 954 RR Rebuild
do the servo delete!
the con is $25 it'll cost for it (use pdfruth's - not the $60 ebay one). it's plug and play. (and in a week or so, you could have sold your working servo motor on ebay for about $30)
it gets that hunk of **** out of the way. pdfruth's is the size of a dime. just google it. it's the first search result - read the thread. i got mine in 2 days after i paypal'd him.
no cables, no codes, you lose about 1 1/2 lbs of useless junk and gain a lot of space.
so long as it doesn't cost a fortune - if you can simplify the bike and get rid of stuff that you won't use - you should do it imo
btw, that's some good airbrushing!

Its free to remove all the cables and just leave the servo motor connected. This is how I have my exhaust setup. This way the ecu thinks it still there and working so no MIL lights. Plus the servo motor is hidden behind the frame rail so you can't see it anyway. The weight savings by removing it is not enough to make a difference.
dyno sheets??? What'd you figure out with the exhaust? When I Sh!* canned the garbage HTEV on my 929, i pulled all the cables and exhaust garbage, just left the servo motor with the plug in place. It's small, you don't see it and you don't get any error codes.
