Glad you're back, dude. Hey - how many miles do you have on that motor now?

(I can understand hibernating with that storm coming through...)

Sry, I mean't bolts. No, haven't disassembled it yet, still in the process of getting the parts list taken care of. Since noone seems to produce studs for the 929, I may just take measurements once I get them off and relay the measurements to APE or someone and get a quote on how much they'd charge to manufacture some studs....or I'll just get some new bolts.

When we were building i searched for different bolts. I even asked a few people that used to race them across the country including erion racing. They said the oem ones would be fine. and if they still looked new and straight to use them.

alittle update on what i have going. The bike is currently stripped to the frame and all the plastics have been sent out for paint again as i wanted a few things fixed touched up and redesigned. as soon as it gets warm i will putting some time into readjusting the cams. which is where i will answer the question about the individual cam lobes because to be honest i really dont remember . i also want to make a new mid pipe for the exhaust. it goes from 2.5" to 2" then into the exhaust which i know is making a huge restriction in airflow. Also im dealing with a guy i found on ebay that does polish and porting for heads. although my head is already polished and opened up really well i want to open up the intakes. He said it is a job he can do and has already done.

Take a few close up photos of the intake ports. It would be interesting to see how they look after Erion. I can take few pictures of my ports.

Yep. I did take a look at the photo but it could be closer and the light could be little better. Are you talking about opening those more? They're doesn't seem to be lot of material to grind of? I'm trying to fit Busas 46 mm throttle bodies to my bike and the Busas boots are allmost spot on whit my ported intake.
