Yes . Im actually about to do a valve adjustment. She isnt running right. I have them in the same place oem gears would sit. So im thinking that the adjustable gears will come into play. Ill try to document as much as possible if it will help?

The oem lobe centers are little under 100 degrees and yours should be intake 106 degrees and exhaust 108 degrees= 107 degrees combined according to webcams site. What does your cam card say? It will move torgue and hp up if you widen the cam lobes separation angle and it will probably move the peak hp above the stock limiter. Do you have still stock exhaust or have you upgraded to full exhaust yet? It will flow better and peak higher. I checked your dynograph whit stock exhaust and you don't have much rpms left before limiter.

On the 1000RR the HRC throttle bodies have different kind idlle adjustment and different sensors because it is intended to be used whit the HRC ecu. If i remember correct It can flow marginally better but if i were you i would try to fit the 04-07 throttle bodies. They are little bigger then 954 oem.

Your build up of the engine is exactly what I want to do. The build is sweet and one of the best I have seen so far. What are your next plans for the build?

Quickly browsed their site, didn't see any valve springs under their catalog. But I think Mika successfully used some 900rr springs from Kibblewhite, you should ask him. He knows a lot about the measurements and shimming

Seems odd to me that Kibblewhite made valve springs for 93-99 900's, 97-03 Blackbirds, 04-05 1k but nothing for the 929/954. I wonder how many orders that Kibblewhite or another company would require to make a batch of valve springs to fit the 929/954. I would be interested because I am about to start a similar build as mrsmobbins.

For anyone with turbo knowledge or custom fabs skills you may want to check out this link on Ebay.

Need of aftermarket valve springs depends on what cams are you going to use and how high will you set the rev-limiter. The Kibblewhites springs for the 900RR will fit straight to the 954. You will just have to calculate the spring need of the cams you are going to use and shim the springs to get desired lbs for seat pressure and right pressure for the point of max lift. The Kibblewhite springs have lot of room the shim them tighter before coils bind. The Kibblewhite springs come whit a set of 1.52mm thick shims if remember correct. My head hasn't been assembled yet so i don't now can i use the shims that came whit the springs or will i have to make some ellse size shims. But they are stiffer then oem 954 valve springs on the same height even whitout the shims.
