2002 CBR 954 RR Rebuild
as for the oil filter it was made by erion and im pretty sure its the same thing as that 929 engine had. like i said ive been riding in traffic and havent had any huge problems yet. i know if i hit 230 then were talking big problems. but i havent really gotten to that point. i will be getting a switch though.
Mika U. i dont have the final one yet but as soon as we get the curve smoothed out and all done this will be the second place that the dyno sheet will go. the first is my wall. haha

i thought about the extra current draw. and what i was thinking was that maybe the best thing to do would be have the extra fan just run on one switch - but if it ever got too hot, then the other fan would kick on like normal.
that way, you're not kicking on both fans at once every time you want to turn it on at 190, or if the bike's fan kicks on at 215 or whatever temp.
the weight's not an issue though - i don't even think the fan and the motor weigh 1lb...
but the current draw is a concern... hmm, i'll have to do some experimenting...
erion made that sandwich oil adapter? i'll have to check into that then. i didn't know if it was something they used or something they made.... a car sandwich adapter would work - but like i said, they're nowhere near as thick as the oil cooler bolt - and thus i'm not sure they'll work..... and also, i think the oil flows the wrong way for the ebay oil sandwich adapters to work.
the oil cooler was a custom job they did for their racing bikes. there might be a way to actually bring the current draw to the second fan resistors and such. that way it may not be assss powerful but it would work non the less.
Thansk OZ. its far from done. i just blacked out my exhaust. im suprised noone called me on it but the time i took the pics i had no exhaust hanger on it
but its on now and i blacked the whole exhaust out. its looks great. still working on the sigma clutch and BST carbon fiber wheels. i just ordered a set of hid projector halo demon eyes which will prove to be a project im sure.
