Oh I geddit Indy .....lol - since it's the small personal can maybe your good
Lady Friend is using it as personal defense like mace or something. Better not
get her all riled up !

What happened to the motorkote relationship ?

Just tested my second set of carbs that I sealed - not a leak ! Can't wait to get
them on my 1990 - and the carbs for the 90 are destined for the 87 with a new
carbjetkit too and much and all as I wanted to keep the 87 bone stock - ah - I
have to change those two peashooter exhaust cans they are beginning to irritate
the crap out of me

Enjoy your trip Tim, I managed a measly 120 km to and from work today on mine, with the last 30 km in the rain. Still put a grin on my face though

Cheers, SB

Default Repair to Nearside Fairing Panel

When I bought my 1989 1000f-j two months ago, she came with damage to the main nearside fairing panel, looked like she had been dropped off the sidestand and the previous owner had started a repair by filling the crack but doing no more.

Being in the UK, not so simple as using Colorite, so it was a trip to Halford with a side panel, one areosol of Honda Rio Red, one of Peugeot Arctic White and one of Plastic Primer in red, some wet and dry paper. I'd already bought some white custom striping in 8mm, 15mm and 20mm of Ebay, so after a lot of sanding down, masking, priming and final coats, then pinstriping it's all done.

The paint matches the tank well, but the plastic is a little lighter, the use of Carlsberg Export makes it look wonderful, (see photo), lol!!

Not perfect, I'm not a bodyman, but it looks pretty good.

Cheers, Steve
