perhaps not but I will be hanging my **** out of the passenger window, if that helps.
Bowels hat may be more precise but there's air bags to discourage **** prolapse, microprocessor controlled naturally, and full video playback to assist the coroner. Damn, those Swedes think of everything, including automatic tinted windows to stop undesirables seeing your bowls hat. Don't think they'll be kicking in any time soon.

Default More work done

Even though it was only 3 degrees C today couldnt resist doing something. Put in a quick release coupling for the fuel line and a fuel filter. Found out my bike is a 1991FM SC24 but has a 1990FL SC21 ENGINE. This was confirmed by David Silver Honda parts in UK.

1991FM SC24 but has a 1990FL SC21 ENGINE.

Um, the 90 model is also designated as an SC24
The SC21 was the Mk1 87/88 model
The M designation started in 1993 when the Mk3 came along, as far as I know.....
The water points on the 87/88 came out of a different location but the 89 onwards are all the same.
So, sorry I don't agree.

Default Model numbers

Yes did think about it but its what David Silvers told me after I Emailed my frame number and engine numbers this is the reply I got

"Thank you for your email enquiry. According to your chassis number your bike is a CBR1000FM, 1991 year of manufacturer, the engine number matches a CBR1000FL 1990 year of manufacture so it is possible that the engine has been changed during its lifetime.

Please contact me if you require any further information.

Regards
Karl"
Here are my numbers if anyone else has any input as will help with spares

Frame number SC24-2204225
> ENGINE NUMBER SC21E-2100970

Question Been quiet, now looking for help

Ok, I admit it! I haven't posted for a while and the bikes been hiding under cover while I run around for work so sorry for neglecting the forums and my ride.

Anyway progress is about to be made - wheels coming off for re-spray to lose the blue& white rear rim, looking for a decent spray company fo rthe fairings. All the local places seems to want to bake the paint without thinking about the plastic deforming - not confidence inspiring! Now I am stuck!
I am looking for braided brake lines but I can't find any for the combined/ linked braking system . Anybody know of a supplier for the UK?

Cheers

Rick
