Been away for a week or so , but before that I had the seat recovered



As you can see , she was in desperate need.

Also fitted a new Powerbronze screen to replace the one I busted last summer , so just the front fender to re-paint now and she'll be looking better than she has in years

 

Certainly a little rough there, Hawk! Good to hear you're treating her nicely.

 

Touched up the rock dings in the lower cowl. No, I didn't rinocoat it. I did not get any advice on it, to do it or not to. Maybe next year. I did install the GIVI mounting kit and the Wingrack 3 bags. Tomorrow I clean up my mess that I have left. Now its Miller Time.

I:
- Cleaned up instrument plastics (see before/after pics)
- Painted the rear hand rail since the powder coating was cracked and chipping (see before/after pics)
- Changed both spockets
- Waiting for a friends chain breaker to put the new chain on

To Do List
Change all fluids and clean up the alternator cover

Since ive had no car since Christmas Eve,ive been on the Bike EVERY day since then....................

 

Got out to state inspection on Sat. - finally had time - was overdue by a few months. Was good to get out. Went right through, though my headlight modulator did get a funny look when he said "high beam please"
