Dao, another thing you could do is screw the plug back out and then use the other socket...

Steve, glad to hear you finally got some good riding weather. I had to take the truck this morning (needed to get rid of some junk), and I miss her already!

Gawd ...I have to leave my old girl at home every day
That sucks. I'm planning on running her to work through the winter this year, too. We'll see. Obviously not in sub-zero chit... but as close as I can stand..

Sounds real good Rob ...think we will need a few pics again though ..
Definitely!

Re-built the front forks with the fork tubes that Harry.T.Hamster sent me (Have I mentioned lately what a reeeealy nice guy Harry is?). Hopefully this will cure my leak as they seemed to be in very good nick

Changed the front brake pads at the same time and cleaned up the callipers . So we should be all set for the MoT(annual check), just got to book it in.

Obviously , took her for a test ride , testing between 8-10,000RPM as we all know you have to test throughout the rev range

Still bedding those front pads in as well

Just finished a HEL braided line install this morning. I can already feel the difference.

Later on or 2mrw I am re painting the front forks as they are all chipped. I'm gonna

out her up for ROTM in December I think. As a proud Aussie I also put some southern cross decals on the front guard on either side.

She come up good. I particularly like the gold banjos on the HEL's that bring out the gold striping in the paintwork. I'm really happy

with this bike. Its coming together nicely now. Cant wait to take it to the GP this year. Cheers Boys.

Here you go Hawk.

The install was good and they bled up really nicely. Cant wait to see how

the brakes are when I give her a good run to the GP in a couple of weeks. I also painted the forks today and did a bit of

detailing ready for the GP. I will spend at least a week on her making sure she is good to go. I also put some grill in fills in the air

intakes. Came up good. Was a busy day in the shed today. Photos to follow.

Cheers

Looks good, bordo!

All I did to my bike today was rode the **** out of her...
The wife said "Wow, what a nice day it is today! I'm surprised you aren't going out riding all day!"
Then she looked over at me to see if I was listening and I was already suited up... helmet and all.... heading for the door...
I ran about a tank through her. I found some very cool mountain roads I'd never been on (and a few really scary ones, too.... )

I started cleaning her up afterward, but got bored with it....lol..
I'll finish tomorrow.

Here's a pic at the Penn State Mont Alto Campus along the way. Dam, she was dirty (the bike, not the college girl.. )

My son and I put on the wheel stripes. They really bring the bike together (just like Lebowski's rug). Sorry for the lame flash photo, but it was raining outside and it wouldn't show up without one. I'll do better. I promise.
