Well ......yesterday .......took her to the "HarvestFest" here in Town ......buncha young
kids were all over her and asking all kinds of questions ........was fun.......and educational
for them.......especially stressing the merits of wearing proper gear and
a helmet..........let a few of the bigger kids sit up on her......very enjoyable.

Yep, it's cool when kids light up over your bike.
I like when you're riding behind someone and their kid is stretching to try to see you out the back window. lol.. You just see a little head poking up over the back seat.

I've also had a couple times where you can tell the parents are yelling at the kids to get back in their seats....lol...

Home from the GP a couple hours ago. Lovely ride home in the sun via Sale, Bairnsdale, Orbost etc. Bit different to the ride down though as we got rained on pretty much the whole way. In some places it was the worst rain I've ever ridden in. Around 1700km all up which was a good run for her. She pulled like a freight train all day. An absolute joy to ride on long distances. My lovely white rims are now filthy with brake dust and road grime. Oh well its to hot in the shed now I'll finish off the wheels etc 2mrw. Cheers.

Yer , I recon allot of the parents are saying , sit down !!! and stop waving !!!
" you be cheecky to the bikie ...and he will come bash us all up !! "
Yep. They're either sayin that or "Goshdammit, kid!! Sit down and shut up about the goshdam bike! I see it! What more do you want me to do??!! I see the fricken' bike, OK??!! Don't make me pull this car over!!"

BTW, Welcome back, Bordo! Glad you had a safe trip, bud. Rain sucks, though...
