So it's just a little bulb that pops in the back of the big lens housing?

There are two bulbs, each 3 inches long from tip of bulb to end of prongs. I don't have big hands but for ease of access I removed the windshield, the inner cover from each side allowing me to remove the instrument panel cowl, and then upper inner cowl. I also removed the 3 bolts holding the instrument cluster so I could ease it out of the way and have a bit more working room.

You can then clearly see the electrical socket to each bulb and disconnect them. There's a rubber boot around each bulb you should remove next, and they were actually the hardest to remove until I realized I could more or less peel them off. They do have a tab on one side to facilitate removal, but the tabs on mine were facing downward so initially I had no clue.

Each bulb is held in place by a wire retainer which takes a little patience and manipulating to figure out how it detaches and reattaches. One side of each retainer is attached to the headlight housing and they just swing away when loosened. Once the retainers are out of the way the bulbs pop right out. Reverse the steps to reassemble.

It'll definately be faster the next time I do it. This was a learning experience!

BTW...the service manual that someone kindly posted was a huge help in finding my way around!

Sounds good! I think we have some laws about using blue lights on private vehicles so I'll look for red or white. Thanks!
