led and volt meter
Plate LEDs work great Indiana........this is my second set though, a different
brand set in silicon and totally waterproof.........first set was not and burned
out as a result.
Yeah Guys the Voltmeter was my real motivation on the thing not the
clock or temp thingy.......but .......they're handy too nonetheless.
Made a custom L bracket out of light alum roofing sheet and slid it in
between the inst light cluster and the trim and pinned it down once
so it don't blow out from wind coming up the front vents

Sprock I like the clk/temp/volt. I was thinking the same place also. I would just like it for the volt meter. GPS has the clock and for the temp if I'm too hot I speed up and too cold I slow down. How's the Plate LED working. I just put two plate leds there to light up the plate.

Nice, House!
I just got done "restoring" my windscreen.
Being almost 15yrs old, it was all discolored and scratched up so I figured I'd try a plastic headlight restore kit on it. It's a kinda cool kit, really, (made by turtle wax) that comes with 6 different superfine abrasive pads, plastic rubbing compound, sanding lube, etc.
It was on sale at advance auto for $6, which is a good bit cheaper than a new screen.
Well, I figured I'd take pics through the whole process and write up a "how-to", but when I got done I pulled my memory card from the camera, stuck it in my computer, and........no fricken' pics!!! Somehow, they all got erased!!
This has never happened to me before. Kinda pisses me off... lol. I guess that'll teach me to pull the card with the camera still on!
Old windscreen looks great now, though...

Yep, you're right, house. I've done that a few times.
Sprock, it works great to clean many things. What can I say? It's like magic in a bottle. It will clean drag marker off your screen, no problem.
It will also clean drag queens off your front porch, but I'm sure you knew that already...

My kid tells me Google is about to kill Windows. They are going to offer an on-line suite of Linux base software to handle absolutely everything, so nothing (of any size or complexity) ever needs to be loaded or updated on your hardware. All your data, programs and everything will be on line. So you can make any machine your machine, instantly. Supposed to come out next year, and make computers cheaper than dirt and fast as hell. How cool would that be? No more buying disks. No more updating in the middle of the night or opening a laptop after a month and having 21 downloads before you can start. I can't wait. I'm going to buy a baseball bat just for the occasion.
