Go Steve go........... we're with ya man .........
+10 Go get 'em, steve!!

Sprock, an old buddy of mine had a '90 just like classics and he lost like 4 of those dam fairing bolts in like a week.
I lost one last year and bought a few replacements, too.
(I have one holding my valve cover on now...lol)

Classic, maybe use zip ties??

Are you using the white ones?
You've gotta color code them to the bike, you know... that's the professional way to do it....

Great. I'm really looking forward to this experience. Any ideas about a preemptive strike? Heading this off at the pass? Which bolts we talking about? A little locktite? Lock washers?

Gotta be something removable though, I presume, and there's the rub.

Otherwise a job for MY favorite stuff: Liquid Nails. No job too big or too small.

Well the one I lost was because I left it bit less tight as I was repairing a crack
that was starting at that point .........I put a gel based two part epoxy in behind ....
gobs of the stuff ..........which did the trick............but forgot to tighten it up later
and it fell out.

Anyway got my spares coming next week ..........link above
