Question Next!!!

Ok, I got the Vance & Hines system on. No, I did not have to take off the center stand. The kit did come with a braket to stop it before it hit the mid-pipe but it didn't. It rubbed the pipe. So instead of denting the mid-pipe I took off the center stand. Anyway with the chrome header and pipe and takeing the center stand weight off I figured I gained 10mph . Did I say that

Looks good Indy ..........that's why I asked ya yesterday ........you taking the stand off ?
...........most people with V & H do just that .........suppose you could have a custom
mid pipe bent to facilitate keeping the stand on though ....

Nice job .......so the other 3 gaskets showed up eh ??

That reflective rim tape looks awesome ......

That reflective tape job looks like when the rotors are glowing during a race. Did you use the two man wheel spinning technic?

And that's a really nice exhaust. It'll be like having on fancy underwear when you get the fairings back on.

do you need to re-jet the carb with the new exhaust setup ?? Yes the directions says that you need to rejet. I have the stage one jet kit, I will take it to the shop to have the jet kit installed(sync) and the CCT done and then DINO'ed.

Did you use the two man wheel spinning technic? I started to use the two man, but I found it easier to do it myself with my foot against the wheel to stop it from spinning. Tapeworks comes with 5 pinstrips on one roll, so you have to cut them one at a time. It was kinda like practice on how slow to go when putting it on the wheels.

you taking the stand off ? At the time I had read the directions and knew it came with the center stand braket. But reading and doing is to different things. If you look on the photo with the stand off on the ground you can see the braket on the directions(white sheet of paper for TROUT).
