Yes it was a great ride mate for sure. She is looking better today with the wheels cleaned. I bought one of those Scala Intercom, MP3 player and bluetooth headsets at the GP Expo. An absolutely magnficient piece of kit that I would recommend to anyone. Took the Bird over today for a Michelin Pilot Power rear tyre. Wow I scared **** out of myself on it today. A very different bike power wise than the old girl......

Those Cardo Scala set are nice Bordo........only prob for me is my mugs to big and I'd
end up chewing the mic right off the stalk.

If you take the foam off the mic .......how big is the actual mic without it ?

Got a pic ? .........appreciate it if you do .....

Thumbs up

I have bought and ordered the GIVI wing rack and mount. I have the stainless steel brake and clutch line. I have ordered a Vance and Hines full exhaust. Now I have a extra header still and micron bolt on. Opps I forgot the JET 1 kit I have sitting on the shelf too. Anyone have any suggestions on brake fluid?

FRONT AND REAR MotoGP STAND SET COMBO

Front Track and Paddock Stand Designed for use in the circuit garages,
MotoGP front track and paddock stands are essential for race and track days. Place the bike on MotoGP front stand to clear the tire of the ground to fit and remove warmers - essential when using tire warmers. Front stands use 32mm tube construction, fully reinforced for extra strength, finished in durable black powder coating.

I also ordered a set of these from flyncycle . Does anyone have any experence with these on a Cane. I also ordered new header gaskets since I am getting the Vance and Hines full exhause, It will arrive here on Thrusday . Does anyone have an idea where I can get new header bolts? The ones I have are the ones that came on the Cane. Also I am looking on here to see what size (litre) luggage (GIVI) I can get that will hold what I need plus look good . I am going to get the LED brake and turn signal's too if the bags have them.

Talking

I am just aquiring parts like I always have but this site that I have found this year has ramped it up. I have always bought parts mostly stock that I have found here and there, can't really tell ya how many parts I have for the 87'. I always wanted to keep it stock since there are no others that I have seen around Indianapolis. Now I know there is a bunch of the CBR1000's with a great bunch of people, world wide even Trout. Thanks again for all the help and answers that I have been looking for. Oh yea SMILIES
