just the one for now ....proper link pipes in SS coming from UK
in a week or two.( a trade ) for the second cans to go back on
New laws up here for 2012 ..... means I had to get removable baffles too !
to get by the newly legislated bike inspection sticker law which includes
noise legislation and testing
Just doing our bit to enlarge state bureaucracy and revenue to be further
squandered by the unduly elected Pol's

Hey:
So whats the noise limit set at and from how far away? Do cars have the same restrictions? You know down here the City of Myrtle Be-atch passed a bunch of those anti motorcycle laws plus required a Helmet within the city limits, the helmet portion was thrown out but the noise ones are still enforced. This was to get rid of the rallies that brought in hundreds of thousands of dollars, now they want to raise taxes to make up for the lost revenue on the very same bussiness they hurt, kind of ironic and moronic. Also the taxes need to go up to pay for the lawsuits they lost, biker tourist they chased away and the extra police they hired to enforce them.

Blew the cobwebs away
No rain just 11C so had to go for a run
Nice 150 mile ride to Poole via country and A roads - some nice bends and empty straights
Rattled the bike along in the 7K+ rev band just cos i could - wonderful sound and acceleration for an 18 year old bike - then realised the exhaust collet has broken so just added to the (sweet) noise
Parked her up under the new rain cover until nexr Saturday when the MOT is booked.

Clocked 96K miles today.
Was just thinking about what I need to do but haven't.
Still, I've clocked up 4,000 miles in the last 7 weeks.
Guess I need some down time. Fat chance at the moment!
Can you send some of that freezing blizzard in our direction Mark, as soon as it hits your island!

Well guys I bought a 92 model today with 84000 km on it for $1285. Not registered and a little rough around the edges but is certainly fixable. Worst case scenario would see it as a great, cheap parts bike. Needs tyres, battery, carb sync and a general tune so the guy tells me but otherwise ok. Picking it up tmrw. Will post some pics then.
