What have you done to your CBR 1000f today?

Re-build
I'm just about to undertake some pretty heavy overhauling of the old girl.
Top end rebuild- swapping the barrels, head and pistons from my spare engine which has only done 32K miles. The head to be completely rebuilt and polished up in all the right places.
New header pipes
Rear shock and linkage overhaul
Pick up my second set of wheels from the paint shop and get a new set of rubber fitted
Fix up a few other little bits and pieces along the way and have her ready to pass the 100K miles mark just after Christmas.

I've got a brand new front tyre if you're interested, just sitting on a spare rim. PM if you want it.
Good luck

Sounds good guys. No performance mods on mine (yet) but I did do some routine maintenance today after rolling over to 64,000km.
1) Oil dropped
2) Fumble with filter, realise I need a smaller tool
3) Fire up the XR600R and go buy smaller oil wrench
4) Remove old filter, fit new on.
5) Top with Valvoline 15W-40
6) Retension/lube chain and test ride!
Much better than before, and oil level seems spot on as well. One disturbing thing I found was that the rear wheel was out of alignment - she rides a lot better now! Absolutely insane that I could still manage to carve the Melbourne hills up for 1500km with her in the state she was, but thats riding for you.
One last note; Unifilter don't do a drop-in airfilter replacement for this bike! I asked the fellows at the local dealership about it and they looked on the PC, then the reference manuals, then called the reps. They got back to me in a few mintues and offered to send off my airfilter so they can design the new CBR1000F airfilter! Woo!
Cheers guys - boingk

Hmmm... righteo, thanks for that Sprock. Looks like we don't get those downunder and are instead offered a Unifilter refurbishment process - you send the OEM filter off to Unifilter and its rebuilt with their proprietary foam and so on... then they ship it back inside 7 working days. Just got off the phone with them, they seemed pretty helpful. Still think its weird that they offer them stateside and not down here, though.

Too bleeding hot to work in the garden today so I went down and hid in the garage for a few hours and gave the old girl some love. Lots of polish, dropped some of the fairings off and did the de-rust and paint touch up on some of the frame.
Chain adjust time - nope I can only run to a 25mm socket and that big sucker is 27mm according to my calipers.
Walk to local hardware store, their range is the same as mine for individual sockets, everything you can think of up to 25mm then a sudden jump to 30mm.
So talk to Stu who is in charge of handtools , order a 27mm socket but he very generously breaks open a Bahco set and lends me one on the proviso I bring it back as soon as I'm finished.
Walk back home, break out my 1/2 drive imperial socket set to drive my newly scored 27mm socket and discover that the 1 & 1/16th imperial socket fits just as well.
Lesson learned : buy an equivalency chart before you buy a new socket.
