Changed the oil and bought her some bags to go inside the GIVIs. Heading out tomorrow on a 2,800 mi run to Ohio for vintage MC days and then to Carlisle, PA for the same. Camping out along the way starting at Letchworth, NY state park.

Bought new rain gear today too.

Walmart ? have a great trip !

Me I have my bike up on the lift since running a single can on the 93
requires, at least imo. a bracket to hold the two lower fairings
together to stop them flopping around at speed , they have enough
cracks as it is

Hey all

I put an MRA touring screen on my '93 Cane.

The only reason for this being I am very tall - 6'4" - I found that I was getting buffeted at anything over about 120km (we have 130 km speed limits in the Northern Territory - used to have unlimited speed limits until 4 years ago).

Anyway, the extra 2-3 inches works a treat. No more head wobble. Thinking of riding Darwin to Perth now.

Cheers

Flipper

Did an oil change, and busy ripping the centre of my fairing out - the screw grommets that hold it to the side fairings have come out, so it's an epoxy job and some fibreglass on the cracks Not difficult, just a pain to line it all up afterwards.
The joys of owning an old lady

Ripped to work. Ripped back. Grinned!
Order a new carb synch tool. She needs a tickle.
Changed the tank yesterday. Old one leaks from under the front mounting bracket and no matter what I've tried she still starts stinking after a month or so. No fumes now and the colour match of the replacement ain't too hard on the eye either.
Now I got to find me someone who can weld the original back to good order.

Know that feeling Henry ripped down and back today myself (short day)
Coppers pulled me up tho' seems the NH State Troopers think my Viper
cans are OTT but then we got talking bikes and well things seemed to
become less tense got a "just ease off the throttle there Guy"

Hey I'd weld that up for ya only there's a large body of water in the way !

Ordering more Vipers as I post ....lol (they are something else)

Picking up a pipe bender Saturday .....gonna be making my own link pipes
for the left side(s)
