Restrictor clips are mostly used in German models at least what I know. Dunno if UK models are the same. Finnnish and US models should be non-restricted from the factory.
If your bike has around 100HP (96?) then the clips are on if it's around 130HP the clips are off.
Tonight going to change sprodkets and chain

Very cool pics, jayjay. Looks like you're giving her a worthwhile tune-up there.
I didn't work on the CBR at all yesterday, but I cleaned her all up and took her out on a date to a bike night.
Then last night I tore the carbs out of my VF750. They're in pieces all over the coffee table. I think I'm just gonna jet it and be done. I can't believe the size jets that are in there. The EPA sucks.
Then I'm gonna slot the mix screws and set them up the way they should be.... then I'm gonna add an inline fuel filter.

Today I did what was promised. Changed the sprockets and chain.
I can't belive how much the bike changed! It's like driving a new one now
It took about two and half hours to complete and everything was done nice and peace. We did it together with my friend.
Bio248: Happy that some has warm. Guess what's the temperature here now 10:30pm...4 degrees celsius so it's 39F...grrr. Todays peak was 14C -> 57F.
Need some gloves while driving

honestly, i would take 40* over 90* any day of the week. i cant take off more clothing when its hot.
these levers fit PERFECT. i had the old ones off and the new ones on in like 10 minutes. took the bike out and adjusted them to where i wanted them and feel very good about my purchase. i will have some pictures up in a little bit.

- what are those??? are those bhp restrictors??
Yes they are restrictors between carburator and sylider
- are they standard?
They are standard in some restricted models.
- do you need to do anything after removal?
Yes you need to ride the bike
just kidding here
Some places the claim that jet's are same in the restricted and non-restricted models. I'am not sure about that. Still the bike feels lot more powerfull after removing those restrictor plates. Also my old spark plugs indicated that engine has been on little rich mixture - so I suppose it's good now.
