I fitted some ebay mirrors. Mine fell over again and bent one. I did straighten it, but it abandoned ship at 4.30am near a place called Coonabarabran. Seems the planets weren't quite aligned.

went and checked out that bike. it was in very rough condition and i would more than likely just end up using it for parts. at this point i think im passing on it. it looks as though its been sitting outside for quite some time. it was missing a panel or two and looks like it was downed since half the side is cracked and broke as well as the brake lever being completely bent out of whack.

if the guy was willing to sell me the exhaust, wheels, and tires i would have jumped on it. i just don't feel like storing the bike and trying to part it out later. oh well, i saved $500.

took mine out for a ride today and now she needs some maintenance. Front tyre is stuffed. Needs a good clean and chain tightened up. Might blow all the crap out of the radiator and oil cooler 2mrw as well as cleaning my once white wheels that are now covered in brake dust...... Looks like I have my day mapped out for me.....

Just fitted these new levers from Ebay to the 93 and they are spot on and enable adjustment
of the clutch lever (NICE) ....... and that to me is just awesome especially if anyone is
looking for clutch lever travel adjustment

EDIT : Such a good upgrade infact I'm getting a second set for my 1990 1000F

Here's the old time thread that kinda made it possible ...... thanks Pete, DeanO and former members

i honestly first took my bike out at night this past saturday. i have 6000K bulbs with a telescopic high/low kit. first off: they are bright as hell compared to the stock headlight bulbs. second: the high beams are 'okay' at best, but considering the lows are so bright im not sure if ill ever need the high beams again.

i just need to adjust mine higher cause right now i can easily overdrive my lights as they are adjusted too low.

added an inline manual fan switch to the 93 1000f as the rad fan switch was running a
bit high for my liking , at times, so a simple grounding inline switch and voila fan goes
on when I think I want it to. and the rad fan switch still works too .....well when it
wants to that is !

Default HID Headlight

I installed a 10000k HID in the 'Cane last week and went out last night, went to the local cruise spot. WOW the low beams are bright. The High beams are super bright. Gives everything a blueish tint. The best Mod I have done....

I did ride by the local college here, I need to take a pic of all the crosswalks at night, It will show you the difference between the High and Low beams...
