What have you done to your CBR 1000f today?

I installed a 10000k HID in the 'Cane last week and went out last night, went to the local cruise spot. WOW the low beams are bright. The High beams are super bright. Gives everything a blueish tint. The best Mod I have done....
I did ride by the local college here, I need to take a pic of all the crosswalks at night, It will show you the difference between the High and Low beams...

im looking to do this hid mod on my 95 f3 and ive heard there may be some flickering with the daytime running lights unless theres a relay installed. did you have any problems like this ?

if youre running a set of HIDs without a relay then you're asking for problems. you'll burn up the stock wiring in no time. given that you run the right relay harness there should be no problems with flickering unless your battery/alternator is bad and you're not keeping the voltage high enough.

last week I noticed some cracks began on my Dunlop front tire. I decided to play it safe and had the local MC shop put on a 110/70 17 pilot road 2 ct. Then I took her for a light spirited run up the Colorado River Canyon. I feel much better about leaning the corners now. I've put nearly 900 miles on this bike so far so I'm not exactly scaping my knees if you know what I mean, and I haven't pushed her so hard that I have to break before the corners but it sure feels right to accelerate out them! Traffic was light and amiable and all was fine until that last 3 1/2 miles when I had to slow to less then speed limit for a leisurely pair of grandparents on their bad **** Hog. I could have passed them without any trouble, but it was a double yellow and I didn't want to give sport bikers a bad name.

After putting in a 240 AC circuit in my garage I went about reacquainting myself with
the glorious art of stick welding ! Went about cutting and welding some 1/2 inch box
steel for a luggage rack - suffice as to say - tomorrow is another day - I was a lot
more out of practice than I thought .... I have a mig welder but the feeder motor is
toast and so thought stick might do the job ...... it will but only with a lot more
patience practice and thinner rods .... had fun though did manage to fix my wood
splitter wedge guide with some 6011 .....bomb proof now
Guess it's all in the puddle ! as they say

The gate was still locked when I arrived at work at 5 to 6 in the AM. I left the beast running to take advantage of the headlight while I fumbled with the lock. Bad move! While my back was turned, she rolled off her kickstand and crunched on the pavement. All the damage was cosmetic except for the added curve to my clutch lever. Never, ever again will I park my bike in neutral!
