Remember Indiana, it isn't the miles per gallon that matters, its the smiles per gallon!

I did 600km on her today with 6 mates. Was a top day. Got her home in time for a new chain and sprockets when they arrive over the next couple of days. She stuck it up a Bandit and a CB 1300 all day. You all would have been proud...lol.

put some VFR clip-ons, on fixed an exhaust leak from the new engine upgrade. The new engine seems to have a lot more low end torque as I keep breaking the tire loose in the turns when I hit the gas to bring the bike up out of the turn. Going to have to get used to that.

I spent the day in the shed working on her today. New chain and sprockets, Zero Gravity screen which looks good but not a perfect fit. It took a bit of bad language and manipulation to fit it but I got there in the end. Far better than the stock screen. The gold DID chain looks great. Front sprocket was f&*ked to say the least. The rear could have been used again but I don't believe in new chain on old sprockets. Anyway a very productive day of maintenance was had. She also got a polish and I put some rubber edging on the screen.
