Today myself & a few hundred other bikes delivered Easter Eggs to Darlington hospital then Durham hospital. Then round the corner to Police HQ who organises the whole thing with out riders stopping traffic at roundabouts & traffic lights straight through, for cuppa & chat.

The police do rider training & have a bike show. little link if you care to look.

Default 2 fingers or 4 !

Good Outing & Great Pics man.

Today I put on a set of new foldable/extendable Levers on the Silver Bullet. (1990)
Pretty happy with them , quality seems reasonable , set them up for a 4 finger pull.
Went for the Black / Silver / Black combo . (extender, lever, adjuster ...that is)

Well on my way to work I saw a Busa rolling down the road, so naturally I slowed down so I he could catch up. We rode down the road, exchanging who was the leader and after I passed my exit to work I decided to see how my bike held up to his bike. So after a "spirited" few miles I saw an exit I could turn around at. So as the next exit rolled up, I slowed down and he passed me. He saw that I was getting off the exit, so he got off and at the stop light he asked what kind of bike i have because he was surprised how well it handled. He gave me props and I headed to work.

Then tonight I felt my bike a little bouncy(dont know how else to explain it) when I hit the throttle. So I checked the chain and sure enough it was a lil loose. So I re adjusted and now all is good for my ride to work tomorrow.

Dont know about "Busa slayer" but I did catch him off guard and held the lead till I slowed down(less then a mile). Not sure if he wanted to pass me or not cause I know a busa should smoke me. But like I said, I did catch him off guard, and showed him what these old girls can do.

busas are heavy, long bikes to begin with. they do make good power, but they are really nothing to be scared of unless they are modded. if it has a slip on can and a drop in filter i would feel more than eager to put them in check with my 1994 couch on wheels.

They may be heavy and long, but they are lighter and have more HP then my Cane. I know from the dig a busa will tear me up, but on a roll that was another story. I am not scared of them by no means I have seen what they can do(friend of mine has had 2 one wtih 280 at the wheel, and the other with 220 and NOS), that is actually my next bike. Atleast when I can afford one.
