Damaged my right side muffler cover 5 years ago when I dropped the bike. Took the one off my parts bike. It was rusted and pitted from what looks to be battery acid. Sanded off the heavy stuff with a wire sanding wheel and paper. When the weather warms I'll apply the paint.

That's the advantage of painted end-cans, mine are chrome so if they get scuffed I'm fecked

Not always Hawk ----- you can always Put a BRA on her

Edit : Today April 1st........installed a set of IX plugs in my 93 (Iridiums)

Snagged a box of 4 on Ebay last week for $20 shipped...not too shabby
for these top shelf luxury plugs !

Thats a heck of a price for the plugs man! I am gonna look for a set for mine.

Today I put new rubber on my cane, and took her for a quick spin. Tires took a bit to get used to, but it was also wet on the ground so I had to take it real easy. I think it was hard to get used to cause the old tires wer shaped like a triangle LOL. Oh well so far for the price they seem pretty good!(Shinko 009 Ravens BTW) I will do a lil thread on theses as soon as I get my bike all legit and stuff. This was also my first time mounting bike tires, and man is it alot harder then car tires. If the weather turns around I will change the turn signal light as well as one of em is burnt out. And I will check the plugs on the bike to make sure they are gapped correctly.

hearing how those Ravens hold up man.
