The perimeter sensor can easily be turned on/off with the press of a button on the remote. I usually leave that feature off if I'm parking around other bikes, while leaving the rest of the alarm active.

I have the Scorpio SR-i900. I'm not sure if the perimeter sensor is included with the basic kit but mine came with that plus the ignition disable module that I wired into the fuel pump relay.

I'm with ya, I have lived in Warren my whole life and couldn't even imagin someone just walking up and getting on someone elses bike just to "check it out". If someone does that around here, they are planning on stealing it for sure, and I will act accordingly.

Criminals around here will kill you for anything they can take from you. So I take no chances and assume the worst. But hey look at it this way, if they are just innocently "checking out my bike" (not likley), after they find them self looking down the barrel of my glock, I'm sure they will politley get off, and never get on someone elses bike they don't know again.

I ALWAYS carry a gun because when seconds count, the cops are only minutes away.

lots of people used to sit on my bike for the hell of it. i was in a fraternity in college, and i had to park my bike in the breezeway of our frat house, needless to say, every drunk sorostitute that would walk by it wanted to take a picture on it. id come out of my room to have a smoke, and there'd be 5 giggling chicks wasted sitting on it trying to figure out how to get it off the sidestand for a photo.
