When mine went bad it sounded like a baseball card in the spokes of a bicycle. What I was hearing was #2 and #3 cylinder misfiring from the FPR flooding those cylinders. I thought it was a rattle at first until I put it on a dyno with the fairings off and was able to stand next to it and listen without any wind noise, etc.

I know yours is different, but it is atleast worth checking. There are so many different symptoms that can occur when the FPR goes bad, I wouldn't be surprised if it could cause some sort of rattle.

Alright problem fixed. I took it to the dealer by my house and asked how much he would charge to adjust my chain and the guy was super cool and told me he would do it for free so about 5 min later he was done so I slipped him some cash for helping me out on went on my way. Well with the chain tight the noise is gone. Guess it was as simple as that.
