Its not that I can't fix it. I am actually very mechanically inclined. Its that all the tools to fix it are at my parents house 30 miles away so for $20 its worth it. Anymore than that I would say screw it and ride back to my parents. Much easier to work in this garage than my little 10x20

That would be correct. With the clutch in there is no noise and clutch out there is noise.

Yeah that weird that it's making noise with the clutch out. May be something internally vs on the outside. I couldn't tell you my thoughts unless I were there to diagnose.

Never knew why Americans are the only ones who complain about a simple dark font. It's what I've always done and easier for me to differentiate me from you. Always get ppl complaining about it on other sites too- but it's not to offend anyone. Just what I do. You like Nike, I like Puma sorta thing. ^_^

I'm going to adjust the chain cause it needs it anyway. If that fixes the problem then great. If not I'm selling it and buying an RR

With the clutch in(pulled) there will be no tranny/clutches/basket noise....but with the clutch out (at its resting state) and in Neutral, you will hear that slight spinning basket/clutches noise..this is by design of the transmission gears not synced/spinning

Btw..random question..does anyone elses F4i produce a small white light behind the tip sensor/gauges when the bike is put into first gear?(either downshift to, or upshifting to)? I noticed a small little light come on behind my headlights when I shift into first? Just a funny observation, and I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this.
