Do the math, $30 for a full set from China, or $90 for a full set from Honda. Do you seriously think the stock pads will last 3x longer? Organic pads will all have pretty much the same amount of grab to them and even the cheap ones have more than you need!

You care more about wear length then stopping power? As for organics, sure they work fine if you don't use the brakes very hard, as soon as they heat up the organics fade fast. If organics were so great they probably wouldn't have put sinterd pads on from the factory don't ya think? And what do you mean organics will have more grab then you need? Sintered aren't even enough braking power [for me at least]. I get 26,000 out of factory front pads and 45,000 from the rears and that includes track days. Your telling me you really need to skimp $60 with wear like that?

I linked an explaination of sintered vs organic earlier. You also have to factor in the added rotor wear caused by using sintered pads, so the price increases there as well.

Yep organic for me. Have fun replacing rotors on these things. If your out racing you gotta pay to play with the big boys. If your just riding around for the fun of it..why spend money on race pads? Its like driving a street drag car around town there isn't a point.

Its true that sinterd pads will wear a rotor faster, but how much are we talking here? I've had factory pads on for 48,000 miles now and my rotor is only down to 4.9mm. Minimum rotor thickness is 3.5mm. Thats alot of wear left. The thing is most people don't even hit 40,000 miles on their sportbike, so they'll never wear through a rotor.
