Sounds like the Neutral safety switch is wore out to me. I believe the clutch lever, kick stand, and neutral safety switch are tied together for safety reasons it would be best to replace the switch instead of tryin to bypass it. Just my opinion and have no better answer to provide, sorry.

Default I have a 94 cbr 900 rr it starts but as soon as it goes in gear it goes dead the lig

mine dies as soon as you put it in gear neutral switch works properly amd so does the kickstand light

@Shanman Hello and welcome to the forum. This thread is from 2016. Not sure if the original posters will respond. When you're indicating "mine dies", we're not sure what model bike you're referring to. Granted this is the 900RR section, but you never know. I'd suggest opening a new thread and describing in as much detail specifically what you're seeing on your bike and then others may be able to help you troubleshoot.
