All the tests done so far should troubleshoot for the stator and R/R wiring, but is there a way to physically check the R/R when it is off the bike, or just say screw it and get a different one? Thanks so much for all the help!!!!

On something like this, I look at the wiring diagram to see what everything does and what everything needs in order to work.

You have only 3 components to this charging system.

1. The Battery. Its only job here is to put out 12 to 13v DC. (And it does)

2. The Stator (Or Alternator). Its only job is to generate a bunch or AC voltage. (And it does)

3. The Rectifier (Voltage regulator). It has only two jobs. It takes the AC voltage and converts it to DC through internal diodes and it senses the battery line voltage and sends a slightly higher voltage to the battery that varies depending on its state of battery charge. (And it fails to do this)

You have indeed tested everything including the wiring, battery, stator, and RR in the above tests.

You see, you have confirmed the RR has everything it needs in order to work, but it chooses not to do $#!+. (Like my Wife)
ITS GUARANTEED TOAST!

So just think of your bike and this test as a big-*** bench tester....
Sorry, been drinkin' n' stinkin'

Default bad rr? or stator

ok so i am having a simular issue only my bike startted and ran fine to walmart i got off turned it off went in for five minutes came out and wouldnt start, acted like battery was dead...so i push started it just fine rode to girls house came back out a lil bit later and it wouldnt even try to turn over so i tried to push start it....nothing...so....i went and bought a new battery..trickle charged it for most the day..started and ran fine..drove to work 45 min drive and back home and died as soon as it got under 1k rpm...used a non running car to give it juice to start and it stayed running as long as the rpm is above 3k....anything under and itll die...also when running at semi high rpm itll start cutting out. its like the battery isnt charging and the stator isnt keeping it running...what could be the problem? didnt start till i ran it up to 145 on open road one day then next day...nothing but problems....youd think if it wasnt charging at all the battery woulda died alot sooner than a 45 min one way and back. with my cooling fans running non stop...any ideas before i go buy a new stator? thanks...btw the battery tester charging machine at auto zone came up with (alot of ripples) and said bad diode....?

Sounds like the RR is dead (PS... that is where the diodes live).
You should confirm it by following the tests at the begining of this thread.
It is a spoon feeder test, so it is super easy to follow.
