Default Battery Draining?

2000 Honda CBR600F4 with 2700km on it.
Spark plugs changed
New battery installed (mechanic said it is still juiced)

I think something is draining my battery. Last night I fully charged my battery and installed it into my bike. That same day I took the bike for a drive brought it back in the garage for 15 minutes then took it out again and it died 3 minutes into the ride. I took it back into the garage and recharged it and the same thing happened all over again. Any suggestions as to what the problem might be and what solutions I should consider are appreciated.

If it died while you were riding it's not the battery that is the problem.

Something is draining the battery...I continually have to recharge it...

And if I attempt to turn it back on..there's evident signs that the battery is not supporting the proper voltage required to turnover.

I would start with downloading the step-by-step troubleshooting instructions from this link. It will help you narrow down your problem.

Have you tried putting a volt meter across the battery teminals whlist the bike is running? It may not be getting a charge from the alternator, which would flatten your battery in no time at all. If you aren't getting a voltage increase with the motor running then I would look at the charging system. A battery that charges on the bench but not on the bike usually points to a fault in the charging system.

It's the stator or Rectifier/Regulator. Get a multimeter and use that guide!

Then get to riding!
