my faithful hurricane and i rode 430ks today, started of nice but as soon as i hit fwy the sky goes black and da rain come down, then winding roads in the dark, cold and some patches extreme fog. remote places i wasn't familiar with..it was very challenging & scary in patches with the poor visibility.. on arriving home just now. i give thanks to the man above and the faithfulness of the hurricane for getting me home safely. YeeHa!

Thumbs up Finally riding out

After 2 weeks of neglect and withrawal symptoms setting in I finally got a ride - albeit short 36 miles.

But to make up for it the weekend is booked

Sunday - off to BSB @ Thruxton

Monday - Southcoast to Ace Cafe to Margate and home. Following the old brit bikes down for a rockers day.

Blow the weather I'm going

Harley Fergusons --HA! That brings back memories. What a picture.

I got a nice ride in the other night. Working hard in the hot garage and went out to cool off and dry out. Very efficient.

Been having some idling issues (idle jets dirty) so I pushed some injector cleaner (Wynns) through the bike at 2x normal concentration for 70 k's - improving as we go, made a difference to the camchain noise too, as the idle is cleaner. Not all the way there yet, but getting better. I'll fill the tank and run the thing today at the same, and see where we end up. Def improvement in accelleration and roll on too, so maybe main jets are a bit dirty too.
Colder here now, so may just be denser air making her go better.....?
I'll wash it today.................

Got the new(ish) tstat housing installed yesterday, flushed out the cooling system and added new 50/50. I went for a 60 mile ride and am happy to report all is well.

Now I need to start shopping for a new rear tire, it's almost to the treadbars.

I am currently running Pilot Powers, but I am seriously thinking of going to Pilot Road 2ct's.

Any input?

Not much today a quick wipe over and a short 60 mile ride. Beats the hell out of going to work
